American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), VIT University, Vellore is planning to conduct an International Symposium MECHNOVATE’18, from 22nd march to 25th march. Mechnovate’18 is a national level technical symposium comprising of various workshops, events, competitions and a Lecture Series (The Unconventional Talks), which will host prominent personalities from various fields.
Mechnovate welcomes professionals, research scholars and students from all over the globe to ideate, discuss and engage in a four-day event.
The success of MECHNOVATE’15, MECHNOVATE’16-conducted along with Student Professional Development Conference (SPDC) and Human Powered Vehicle Challenge (HPVC); MECHNOVATE’17-conducted along with ICMMM’17-International Conference on Materials, Manufacturing and Modelling, all of which were national level events is a testimony to ASME-VIT’s hard work and commitment towards taking mechanical engineering to the next level.
Mechnovate’16 along with SPDC and HPVC involved about 2200 students from colleges across various parts of India and the world. Mechnovte’17 saw active participation of 1500+ students and around 700 research scholars who had come to VIT University, Vellore to be a part of ICMMM’17.
The fourth edition of Mechnovate, Mechnovate’18 promises to create a common platform to bring together bright minds across the country and create opportunities to enlighten their knowledge.
For the first time, Mechnovate’18 brings to you ‘The Unconventional Talks’, a series which brings together, esteemed guest speakers who have excelled in their respective fields. All the speakers will be presenting their talk on topics which will motivate the young generation of today to build a brighter tomorrow.
As a part of Mechnovate’18, ASME-VIT will also be organising four workshops and various events like Paper Presentation, RC Baja, The AeroChallenge and MechArchery.
