ADVITIYA – A TECHNICAL EXTRAVAGANZA OF PUNJAB
IIT Ropar, the institute recently ranked the 9th best technical institute in the country by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in its 2016 National Institute Ranking Framework has been marching steadily towards making a global presence with its cutting edge research facilities and one of a kind UG program. To follow on the institute’s value statement, IIT Ropar is organizing its second edition of the annual Techno-Management Festival “Advitiya” spanning more than 60 hours of intense competitions and fun events.
Fest Dates: 23 – 25 March 2018
Advitiya will kick off on 23nd March with inauguration whose attendees constitute stalwarts in the field of technology like Dr. Sarit Kumar Das – Director/Professor of IIT Ropar and Professor of IIT Madras.
Advitiya has already evolved into a brand and a publicity paradise that ensures stupendous brand visibility for the sponsors like Webstaff- a Global HR firm and giving them unique platforms to connect with the vibrant youth of the nation. With an array of events that consolidate their vision for times to come, Advitiya 18’ is ready to set the scientific spirits soaring and technological temper ablaze. Advitiya will witness a wide range of scientific and technical activities and novel events from upcoming fields like Coding, Robotics, Finance, Design and Entrepreneurship with total prizes worth as high as 4 lakh Rupees. There will also be guest lectures by RJ Naved, Balaji Viswanathan (CEO of Invento Robotics) and Divyanshu Damani (Social Media Influence and founder of The Soch Network). To add to the fun, there will be a comedy show by Abhishek Upmanyu, star night
by Hardy Sandhu and DJ Night by DJ RAY.
The fest will not only be setting a platform for intoxicating mix of talent from colleges, but from schools and companies also by organizing a Technical Exhibition and Open Day where in, all the state-of-art labs and cutting edge research infrastructure will be open to display for all the students and companies
visiting.
