Aakaar – 2015, the annual Civil Engineering Fest organised by the group of Civil Engineering students at IIT Bombay, will be held on 14th and 15th March. The fest serves as a platform to budding civil engineers across the nation to ideate and gain knowledge from various events, competitions and symposium. The major sponsors of the fest include CEP (Civil Engineering Portal) and WIND WORLD along with many others.

Events
Aakaar – 2015 includes many Lecture series, Case Studies, Career Talks and Lab Visits for practical exposure to civil engineering.
Civil Engineering National Exhibition, CENEx (A part of Aakaar – 2015) provides a unique opportunity to all civil engineering students across India by facilitating them to showcase their research projects incorporating new technology via different models, prototypes, simulation models or samples in front of eminent professors and professionals.

Workshops on Autodesk and STAAD would be conducted. So, you would get the opportunity to learn the use of these CAD tools for a very low registration fee.

Symposium
The Symposium will be a Paper and Poster Presentation. It will give participants an opportunity to present their research work during a formal conference with eminent professors, country’s most talented students and industry experts.
