College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University is going to welcome the year 2016 with the extravaganza of many technical encounters. Yes! The CEG young engineers are ready to welcome the annual international techno-management festival, Kurukshetra – 2016. The fest with a vision for future to motivate, to provide opportunity and to identify and analyze societal problems, thereby provides tools to the current generation to solve it; this time the 10th edition of Kurukshetra is going to be held on 27th to 30th January, 2016 17th to 20th February, 2016.
CEG being the oldest engineering college of India (Refer: oldest engineering colleges of India) carries more than 200 years of glorious history. So an engineer must participate @Kurukshetra not only to showcase his/her technical talent, but also to explore the stories behind the historic building of the institute.
Have a look on the highlights of Kurukshetra’15
Kurukshetra’15 came up with many interesting projects like Auto Green, Wireless Relay Communication, E-Glove, Indigenous 3D Printer, ORAA (On Road Accident Anticipation), Pseudo Eyes, Walking Chair etc. It’s sure this time they will come up with many interesting projects in emerging areas.
Many eminent personalities have already delivered lectures to the students and yet many to come. Some of the highlighted lectures this time are:

- Hemanth Kumar Guruswamy, CEO, Airtel Broadband
- Angelo Vermeulen, Crew commander of MARS Simulation program funded by NASA
